SOCIAL PROGRAM

<*dv_1*> An attractive social program will be organized for participants and accompanying persons and will include on board and off board events at the places the boat will visit.

Sailing regatta on Tuesday, May 10th

All registered participants are welcome to compete for the title ”Champion of the 8th ISMH Sailing Race”. To participate in the race, you have to form the team with at least four other team-mates. On request, one professional skipper will be allocated to each team free of charge.

Free City Tour for Registered Accompanying Persons on Monday 9th

<*dv_2*> Registered accompanying persons are welcome to this pleasant half-day program in the picturesque Trsat with the visit to the famous centre of pilgrimage, the Franciscan monastery and the sanctuary of Our Lady of Trsat with it’s votive chapel, whose foundation is linked to the legendary transfer of the Holy House from the Holy Land to Europe. Walking through the picturesque plebeian centre of Trsat we will visit medieval Trsat Castle, formerly a property of the Dukes of Frankopan. The Tour will end in a nearby Opatija, the old tourist resort of Austro-Hungarian nobility.
