<*dv_3*> Rijeka is the biggest Croatian port and traffic junction in the north of the Adriatic. Its efficient communications and transportation networks make it easy to reach it.

All participants embarking in Venice will be brought to Rijeka next day. Boat will be docked at San Basilio Terminal in the centre of Venice. The Sailing distance from Venice to Rijeka is about 12 hours. Transfer to, and from the airport, will be available. By Air:
<*dv_0*> Main Croatian international airport is in Zagreb (Pleso Airport), and transfer from Zagreb to Rijeka will be provided. Transfer by coach takes about 2 hours. By Train:
<*dv_1*> Rijeka train station is located about 1000 meters from the peer where the ship will be docked. The boat can be reached by 20-minute walk or short taxi drive (taxi station is located in front of the train station). By bus:
<*dv_2*> Rijeka bus station is 100 meters from the peer where the ship will be docked. CLIMATE:
The climate is Mediterranean. The weather in May is usually warm, the average daily maximum temperature is 21° C, and the average daily minimum is 13° C. Expected mean relative humidity is 61% and average number of days with measurable amount of precipitation is 10 (data by IAMAT-World Climate Chart). Lightweight cottons are recommended for daytime; lightweight wool suits or dresses, sweaters for evenings. However do not forget to bring your umbrella with you.
